Deputy Manager - Maternity Cover
We are currently seeking a Full Time Temporary Deputy Manager to assist the Nursery Manager in the day to day running of our busy setting. This position is to provide leave for maternity cover and will be over fours days per week.
Shifts: Tuesday 7.30am-5pm, Wednesday 8.30am-6pm, Thursday 7.30am-6pm and Friday 7.30am-5pm
Salary: £14.75 ph
Skills and Qualifications
Successful candidates must be adaptable and have the ability to use their initiative to assist in the daily running of the setting.
Essential:
Candidates must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children’s Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years paid experience in working with children under age 12 in a supervisory position.
Valid driving licence to fulfil day to day school pick ups.
Desirable:
Higher level qualifications such as BA Early Childhood Studies or Playwork.
Previous leadership experience within an early years setting an advantage.

Room Leader - Maternity Cover
We are seeking a motivated candidate who enjoys lots of outdoor & creative activities to lead our Playgroup team at Peartree Barn.
Shifts: 7.30 - 5.30pm Monday and Tuesday and 7.30am - 6pm Wednesday and Friday.
The role will involve working as part of the Peartree team to deliver a varied programme to children aged 0 years to 12 years old. Our nursery enjoy a number of 'Fresh air sessions' and it would be beneficial for the prospective candidate to have a good understanding of the advantages of outdoor play and discovery for young children. As the Room Leader you will be responsible for long term and short term planning for children aged 2 years 10 months to 4 years old as well as supporting a a team of staff.
Salary: £13.14 per hour.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
Qualified in CACHE / QCF Level 3 in Children's Care Learning & Development or equivalent.
Two years paid childcare experience
Desirable:
Previous supervisory experience within an early years setting

Relief Nursery Assistant
We are currently seeking Relief Nursery Assistants to join our team to help assist are team during holiday periods and to cover breaks and staff sickness.
Daytime shifts, Monday - Friday between 7.30am-6pm
Salary: £11.79 ph
Skills and Qualifications
Successful candidates must be adaptable and have the ability to use their initiative to assist in the daily delivering play and care activities with the setting with children from 0-12 years old.
Essential:
Experience working with children in a paid or unpaid capacity
Desirable:
Working towards or qualified in CACHE / QCF Level 2/3 in Childcare’s Care, Learning & Development or equivalent.
Ability to work at short notice and a range of different shifts
